Power Draw of Curt Spectrum Brake Controller

Question:
2023 gmc 1500 truck dealer installed a curt spectrum brake controller with knob . the truck battery keeps going down every 4 days dealer unplug the controller and the battery draw in ok plug the controller back in and there is a 50mm draw on the battery is this normal?

Per Curt, the Spectrum has a constant power draw of 25-40 milliamps.
