Can 5,000 lb Leaf Spring be Used on 3,500 lb Axle

Question:
Hello, Can we use this type of leaf spring UG34FR 30 inch on a Dexter 3500lbs axle, I know its a spring for a 5200lbs axle, but I have a Keystone Bullet Premier travel trailer with 30 1/4 inch Mono leaf springs on Dexter 3500lbs axles with a 5 bolt pattern, the 5200lb axles are 6 bolt. Photos will not upload, These mono springs are very hard to find, I spoke with Keystone and the distributor. I would like to upgrade the suspension instead of waiting months for parts. Thank You Andre

Yes, if you'd like you can use the 30" Long 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 5,000-lb Trailer Axles # UG34FR on your 3,500 lb axle. Your trailer will ride stiffer but it is certainly something you can do if you desire.
