Do 2023 Ford F-150 OEM Wheel Well Liners Need to Be Altered to Install Air Lift Air Bag Kit

Question:
Will Factory Installed Wheel Well Liners Need Altering for Air Lift ultimate 5000 on my 2023 F150 with Max tow package? Thanks

Expert Reply:
Your 2023 Ford F-150 factory wheel liners will not need to be modified when installing the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 system, even if you have the Max Tow Package.
The air bags install directly under your truck frame and behind the leaf spring stack so you'll have plenty of spacing between any wheel well liners and the air bag kit.
I recommend picking up the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers # AL67PD for your application because of the internal jounce bumpers. Air Bags do a great job and while there isn't a fear of them blowing out, it gives a little peace of mind knowing that in a worst-case scenario you'll still have some jounce bumpers your truck frame will hit.
