Question:
I have a 2023 Subaru Outback Touring. I had a Draw Tight 600Lb TW 2inch Square. I am looking for a hitch riser that can extend out approx 7.5 and up minimal 4inch to 6inch high. Maximum TW will be around 300lbs. Most likely less!! Not sure if there is a well built hitch riser that handles 600lbs TW. Not sure how this all works with a Hitch Riser. Please let me know. Thanks Greg

Hey Greg,
The style of hitch adapters you were looking at are either for flat towing use only or would reduce the tongue weight capacity of the hitch by 50% so the best option to retain your capacity and still meet your rise and extension requirements would be to use a stacked receiver like the Gen-Y # 325-GH-305. I drew up a diagram showing the extension and spacing from receiver to receiver so you can get a better idea if this would work. If you could give me some more details on what you're trying to do then I might be able to find something to better suit your needs.

Kevin, I did reply 2-14. My fault. I did not look at the reply method back to you. This is what replied back to you. See below. Thanks! One more question. Is there another one that can almost do the same thing but not as expensive Gen-Y # 325-GH-305 because the rise of 10” might get in the way of the truck door when opening. Not sure yet. I will check it out but in the meantime, I might have to look into another option if there is an option. I am also planning on buying a carrier. See below. I am going to get an aluminum carrier. I want a good study one that is around 24” to 29” wide or deep or better if possible and handle the 500lbs or better. Not that I would put more weight on. I just believe that those types are beefier. Note: I might have to haul a lawn mower, snow blower. I bought a steel one from you guys that was around 60” long or less but the depth was around 29 W” but it started to wear and sag over the years. I would like strength in my next carrier. Can you help me Thanks Greg
