Replacement Gas Shock For RV Door

Question:
I need a 8.5inch by 21 gas strut for our rv door. Normally a 20 10 pound would work but we had to move the plate on the door over an inch. The original place the screws wallered out so had to move it to a more secure location. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The closest we have is Gas Shock # 372-5300-20 which requires 20lbs of force and measures 20" extended and 11.4" compressed. If this doesn't work, you can install new brackets # 372BR-1020 or # 372BR-12552 which have the 10mm ball for the gas shock. This way you can rearrange the brackets on your RV door to make it work with a different sized shock.
