Does Furrion Supply Mounting Screws For Vision S Camera Systems

Question:

I just received the Furrion Vision S with monitor and also an additional Furrion Vision S camera as an additional order. Instructions recommend using the #6 x 3/4 in. flat self-tapping screws to mount the base plate with rubber seal. The small Ziploc bag in both packages with 4 screws each are not 3/4-inch self-tapping screws and are so short they hardly extend through the plate with gasket. Not sure what the short screws are used for, but my question is does the customer furnish the mounting plate screws or maybe there was incorrect packaging by Furrion ? Thanks for your help.

Hi Charles,

The screws you have in the picture are the ones needed if you were mounting the camera # FOS07TASF into an already mounted shark fin camera mount. If you don't have a prepped trailer with the mounts already in place then you'll need to pick up some self-tapping screws from your local hardware store in order to mount the shark fin camera mount. Furrion does not provide the mounting screws.
