Will this front hitch mount fit a 2001 GMC Sonoma 2wd?

Unfortunately not, the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 31021 is specifically designed for the 4WD models only. I did some digging around and it doesn't actually look like there are any front trailer hitches for a 2001 GMC Sonoma, so, your only real option would be to have one fabricated using something like the Curt Weld On 2" Receiver # E17.
