What do I need on my Subaru Forester 2024 to use the Thule bike rack TH49XE?

You will need a trailer hitch receiver and a wiring kit installed on your 2024 Subaru Forester in order to properly use the Thule Epos Bike Rack w/ LEDs # TH49XE, and for that I recommend the following:
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C47HR
- Curt T-Connector # C56040
- Eclipse Magnetic Mounting Bracket # 306-X6019
The Curt trailer hitch is the only option with a hidden crosstube which is why I recommend it. The hidden crosstube means you get a better finished look at well as better ground clearance since only the receiver is sitting under your bumper (see attached).
I like sticking with the same brand of wiring as the hitch for consistency which is why I recommend the T-Connector from Curt, and then the magnetic mounting bracket gives you a quick and easy way to keep your 4-Way connector easily accessible next to your hitch receiver.
