Question:

I am looking for a LOW PROFILE cross bar/rack system for the camper/topper on my 2023 Honda Ridgeline. KEY: LOW PROFILE. From the top of the topper to the highest point on the cross bar should be 3.5 or less - at 4.5, if I run over a bug in the driveway, the rack would hit the top of the low angle approach of my low carport. Please make a recommendation.

If you're adding crossbars to your camper shell, the lowest profile option would be the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells - Track Mount # Y02-480B-ST.

These bars are going to be right around 4" tall, so just a bit out of your scope but if you're that strapped for space you're likely not going to be able to find anything that works.

Alternatively, you could add the Rhino-Rack Vortex StealthBar Roof Rack which is going to be the lowest profile crossbars we have. These would get attached to factory/OEM rails and provides a nice set of crossbars to your Ridgeline, only sticking up slightly higher than the factory bars.
