Question:
I have a 2016 Honda Accord in excellent condition. I also have two heavy e-bikes. If I put a hitch mount on the Accord and purchase a hitch mount rack, will our two bikes that weigh over 100 lbs total drag down the back end of the car significantly? Thank you in advance for your advice.

Expert Reply:
With a hitch installed on your 2016 Honda Accord like the Draw Tite part # 24899 and an E-bike rack designed for this hitch size like the Easy Fold XT part # TH903202 there would be a decent amount of weight on the rear suspension of your Accord but not to the point that it would cause excessive sag or other issues. It wouldn't be much different than having a few heavy passengers in your back seat.
