Question:
Can I install e track with one in front and one in back of the tires? I often have to load my atv to one side or the other depending on what else has to go on the trailer.

Yes, you certainly can install E-track with one in front and one in back of the tires. It makes sense to position the track that way, since the ATV may be on one side or the other. E-track is so versatile there are a lot of different ways you could make this work. You just want to make sure that the mounting slots are horizontal to the tire. One suggestion is to use a few smaller pieces of E-track like part # ET4S. These could be placed side by side in your desired location to give you a tie down point for a wheel strap like part # e79HR.
Another way is to use a section of X-Track like part # 3481788. X-Track gives you both horizontal and vertical mounting slots, which will allow you to keep your wheel straps properly oriented with track running in front and back of the tire like you are wanting. Personally, I would lean towards doing it this way since it would be less individual pieces of track to deal with, but like I said, there are a lot of different ways you could go about this. The track is also available in different size sections if needed.
