your recommendation on snow cables for 2023 RAM 1500 Laramie tire size 275x55R20... or should I consider chains? Use: occasional ski trip or visit to snow locations Montana, Idaho, etc

I wouldn't mess with cables. They don't last as long and chains provide far better grip.
