Will this fit behind a 22 toyota highlander?

Yes, it will. The Front Runner Overland Water Tank item # FR85BJ measures 7-1/2" tapers to 5-1/2" long x 39-3/8" wide x 13-13/16" tall. From what I could find online the rear cargo area of a 2022 Toyota Highlander measures 56" wide x 24" deep.
