Will The Thule T2(917) Bike Rack Fit a 29" Diameter Tire?

I have a thule T2-917 and recently upgraded to a 29 Bike, Is your replacement locking ratchet assembly753-3579 longer than my original locking ratchet assembly or do i need both the locking ratchet assembly and a new replacement hook 753-3583 to handle a 29 Wheel?

The Thule T2(917) bike rack should fit up to a 29" diameter tire that is 3" wide with the stock parts according to Thule. So the Replacement Locking Ratchet Arm Assembly # 753-3579 and Replacement Hook # 753-3583 are going to be the same size as your stock parts.
If your tires are wider than 3" you will need to consider upgrading to the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack # TH83JV which will fit tires up to 5" wide and 29" diameter.
