Is There a Way to Convert Thule T2 Bike Rack 917XTR to Fit 2 inch Hitch

Question:
I have a Thule 917XTR. The rack is 1-1/4 and I need it to fit 2” hitch. What will work and fit good. Thanks.

Hey Tb, unlike many other Thule racks Thule doesn't have a 2 inch adapter that fits the T2 917XTR so what that means is you'd have to replace the shank with the part # 753-3581 which basically converts the rack to the 2 inch version of it.
