Can a Ladder Rack Be Installed on a 2007 Humvee

I have a potential solution for you, but there aren't any custom fit ladder racks for a 2007 Humvee so we will be looking into "uncharted" territory for your setup.

The only ladder rack that I can see possibly working for your application is the Yakima OverHaul HD when it comes with the track mount. The smallest configuration is with 54" tracks (that can be trimmed to length) and then you just need to choose the best crossbar width for your vehicle:

- 60" Crossbar Kit # Y22AR
- 68" Crossbar Kit # Y54KR
- 78" Crossbar Kit # Y34KR

The tricky thing about this setup is if the bed is actually big enough to accommodate all of the parts. My contact at Yakima said they can't necessarily okay this as a fit, but they are pretty sure only one upright will actually fit so I'm going to give you some measurements to verify. If your truck bed is too small you may need to stick with one upright/crossbar and then see if there is a way to fabricate a crossbar setup on top of the cab.

The bases of the uprights measure 16-3/4" long so when placed next to each other your bed needs to be at least 33-1/2" long for both front and back bases to physically fit. Your bed rails also need to be at least 3-1/8" wide for the rail to properly install and the base to have enough support (see attach photo from instructions).

If everything will fit then the last piece of the puzzle is making sure your roof top tent will fit the crossbar spread, which should be in the ball park of about 30" (center of crossbar to center of crossbar). This will fit perfectly with the Yakima SkyRise HD Tent # Y07436 which works with a 26" - 40-1/2" crossbar spread.
