Question:
Hello. I have a 2020 Subaru Forester Sport 2 inch lift with225/55 r 18 Falcon WildPeak AT tires. I am looking for cables. I see the Glacier Cable Tire Chains - Ladder Pattern - Roller Links - Manual Tensioning - 1 Pair - PW1042. WIh AWD do I need 1 set? Is that for the front or the rear? Thank you

Expert Reply:
For your 2020 Subaru Forester with tire size 225/55R18 the Glacier tire cables part # PW1042 are a confirmed fit and would work great. With an AWD vehicle ideally you run the cables on all 4 tires for maximum traction but you can get away with running just a single set. You would want to run the cables on the primary drive axle which would be the front axle.
