I recommend the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550040 for your 2023 Ford F-150 with the short bed. This hitch will slide back up to 22-1/2" to gain the clearance needed to maneuver your 5th wheel. It will attach to the Rail Kit # DM8552028-71 in your bed.
