I'm going to be putting a slide in camper in the bed of my 2018 F-250. Is it safe to put a 7-Way socket in the bed for easier connection of my camper?

Yes, it will be beneficial to install a 7-Way socket in your 2018 Ford F-250 Super Duty bed, but you'll need to use a specific type of connection that comes with hardware that's safe for the aluminum construction and for that I recommend the Curt connector:
