What is Measured Diameter of 10 inch Trailer Wheel
Published 11/30/2023 >
Question:
I have a 205 65 10 6 ply Tread 3 ply / sidewall 2 ply - load range C on a galvanized rim, that needs replacement. Im going to use it as a spare. I believe your Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire with 10inch Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range C Item # AM3H400 will meet my needs. ONE PROBLEM HOWEVER When I measure the rim diameter it measures 11inch Im guessing 1inch of the tire is tucked inside. So the 10inch rim is actually 11inch in diameter when measured with the tire on? I spent about 20 min. doing online chat and could tell the person did not have the availability of being able to measure the rim.

Your 10 inch wheel measuring 11 inch in diameter is normal as odd as that might sound. The diameter is measured on the bead seal of the wheel and not the mounting lip which is the outside most portion that you are measuring. So the part # AM3H400 that you referenced would work well for you.
