First I recommend testing your trailer with a different controller if possible. I want to eliminate the issue is not coming from the trailer having overly adjusted brakes or another issue with the brake magnet which may be causing your issue. If the problem does not repeat with another controller your Curt Echo # C51180 may have internal damage causing the issue.
If you purchased the unit from us we can help you with the warranty process by contacting our customer service team. Otherwise you will then want to contact Curt directly to see exactly steps they will need you to perform.
