Question:

On the RR06, how deep does the mounting hole need to be for the recess. Ive got a cargo trailer with a 3/4inch deck. Obvioiusly Ill need to order the mounting bracket with it.

Expert Reply:

I pulled a trailer D-Ring from our warehouse and took a measurement for you. the depth of the D-Ring housing from the bottom of the flange with the mounting holes is 7/8 inches. The 1/4 inch mounting holes are spaced 3-3/16 inches apart.

The mounting plate you would use under the surface you are mounting the D-Ring to, is part # BP06. This would offer much more support than just wood.
