The Progressive Dynamics 1000 Watt Inverter # PD94FR is not able to automatically detect the type of battery it is connected to. There is also not a switch which allows you to tell the Inverter if you are connected to either lithium or a lead acid battery.
It would be best to integrate the inverter with a Battery Management System # RED88FR so you can protect your lithium batteries by disconnecting power when it reaches a certain state of charge.
