Question:
Would there be any negative impact using this articulating hitch with a WDH like the Eazi-Lift TR3? Wondering about the ability to use a WDH for long road trips and then be able to pull the WDH off and a standard ball hitch on the vehicle when going offroad. Or are there better options for a ball coupler that can go into a 2inch tube on the trailer for use with a WDH? Then pull the entire thing off the vehicle and trailer to swap to my existing articulating hitch for offroad.

I just ran this question by my contact at ARK. The Ark Articulating Off-Road Coupler # AR44FR is ok to use on the road with a weight distribution hitch like the Eazi-Lift TR3. There will be no negative impact of any kind. The only side note is the weight distribution hitch must be removed in any off-road scenario.
