Question:

I have a 2018 Jeep JL Unlimited SportI have installed the Curt C96JR Toad light wiring kit and the Demco Stay and Play braking system. All lighting seems to be working correctly meaning the RV brake lights don’t over power the Toad turn signal lighting. My problem is where to tie in the indicator light for the braking system. I’ve read that cutting into the brake switch wiring could present problems, I didn’t know if I needed an additional relay like the Roadmaster 88400 or something else. Thank you

We can definitely help with that. The OEM brake switch in your 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Unlimited is actually not usable for the purpose of installing the Demco Stay-in-Play Braking system # SM99251. You will not need any relays. Instead a Stop Light Switch # RM-751490 will be required for proper usage of this braking system. The Stop Light Switch will be what activates the indicator every time the brakes are applied.
