Question:
I ordered this charger for battery maintenance over the winter. The description states its suitable for RV batteries with a 40 Ah rating, however my battery is 64 Ah. Can I still use this charger and the full charge takes longer, or do I need a different charger?

Expert Reply:
The NOCO Genius Smart Battery Charger # 329-GENIUS2D is not going to work well with a 64 Ah battery. While technically it will be safe to hook up and use, it will take a very long time for the charger to fully charge your battery. Even for long term maintenance charging, this would not work well. We do recommend upgrading to a different charger like the # 329-GENIUS5, which will work with 12v batteries up to 120 Ah.
