Question:

Hi, I have a High Pointe Over the Range microwave in my RV that has given up the ghost and am looking for a replacement. It is a High Pointe EC942K9E microwave + convection oven + hood fan and vent. The new microwave needs to fit in the same dimensions and must have a hood fan and vent. Convection oven is optional. I am looking for any suggestions, including if the Furrion FMCM15SS will work.

The Furrion Over the Range RV Convection Microwave # FMCM15SS is very close to the dimensions of your High Pointe EC942K9E. Your current microwave is 29.9" wide by 15.7" tall and 15.0" deep. The Furrion is 29-15/16" wide by 16-3/8" tall and 15" deep. So it will fit the same width and depth but the whole unit is roughly 3/4" taller so you will lose some of the height above the stove. The Furrion does opperate as a microwave, convection oven and hood fan and vent like your High Pointe.

If you do not want the convection oven or the height difference is an issue you should consider the High Pointe Over the Range RV Microwave # HP74ZR. This will have the same dimensions as your current High Pointe.
