Replacement Seat For An Older Model Sealand Toilet

Published 10/20/2023

Question:

I have an older model Sealand toilet and I need to replace the lid/seat unit. I believe it is a model 201, but since there are no identifying labels/tags I cant be sure. Photos are attached. Ive been told the original part # is 385312114 by Dometic, but that is obsolete and was replaced with part # 385343831. Some suppliers agree with this cross referenced item, some do not. How can I be sure?

Expert Reply:

You are correct that the original part has been discontinued. The replacement seat # DOM25FR (385343831) is going to be your best bet. It looks like your current seat is about 14" or 14-1/2" across and about 16" long. The replacement seat # DOM25FR is more like 15" across and 18" long. The mounting holes are 5-1/2" apart. So it will be slightly larger than the old seat, but it will be the closest thing as far as what we offer here at etrailer.
