Question:
I need clarify a detail in the installation instructions for my weight distribution hitch P/N 17352. The manual states a minimum of 5 chain links for the spring bar adjustment but the illustration is not clear on what counts as the final link when counting. I have a picture of my setup that I can send to see if it is setup correctly. Thanks, Jake

Expert Reply:
When counting the spring bar chain links for the Curt Trunnion Style Weight Distribution System w/ Shank # C24UR you would start at the first full link off of the half link bolted to the bars and count up 5 links. If you have less than 5 links below from the frame hook to the spring bar the frame bracket will likely rub on the spring bars.
