Question:

Weld On - Sidewind - 28-1/2 Lift - 7K Item # TJDP-7000S-B I need to mount 2 of the above or similar to each side of a dock ramp. I would like to weld an additional swivel mount so the jack is mounted with two 1 swivel mount is already welded to the ramp swivel mounts. Also, i need to weld an axle 2+_ perpendicular on the drop leg for the wheel mount. Is the drop leg steel? Can it be welded? tks

Yes, the drop leg on the Square Pipe Mount Swivel Jack # TJDP-7000S-B is steel. The parts have a zinc finish so you will need to clean off the finish where you intend to weld so the weld does not get contaminated with the coating and be sure the area is well ventilated since the coating can be hazardous.

We do have the Weld-On Pipe # TJP-FP58 which fits this jack for additional mounts.
