Hello, I have installed on my 2022 Subaru Outback a tow hitch and the Curt T-connector wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector. What is the next step and best option for a trailer brake controller? Thanks.

Thank you for your purchase of the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56040!
To get you setup with a brake controller on your 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon I recommend the following parts:
- Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7
- Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR
- Universal Wiring Harness # RED69FR
The universal installation kit gets you all of the wiring and connectors you need for a 7-Way a the back of your Outback as well as what's needed to connect a brake controller to it, and then the Tow-Pro Liberty is one of my favorite controllers to recommend because it can be installed virtually anywhere in your cab and the control knob is the only thing visible so it looks clean and is out off the way.
We actually had a chance to install all of this on a 2020 Outback Wagon so I've linked the installation video for you to check out!
