Recommended Tonneau Cover And Short Ladder Rack For A 2018 Ram 2500

Hello I have a question about the Yakima BedRock HD Truck Bed Rack - Aluminum - 300 lbs - 78 Crossbars Item # Y01160-59 Is it possible to attach this to t-slots on a toneau cover? Im looking for one with a 300 lb capacity. Im looking to have some sort of low profile truck rack/bars with a 300 lb capacity and is quickly removable and will work with a toneau cover. The toneau cover can be a roll up or retractable. If roll up, is their side rails with t-slots that could be added? I have a 2018 ram 2500 6-4 bed. I currently have a bolt in rack that sits above the roof of my truck and is hard to remove and difficult to place kayaks on. We are looking at getting e-bikes that are heavier and would like something low profile for these and kayaks. Thanks!

The Yakima BedRock HD Truck Bed Rack # Y01160-59 clamps onto the lip of the bedrails so it wouldn't be compatible with a tonneau cover t-slot, but I do have an alternative for you. The Yakima OutPost HD Overland Truck Bed Rack w/ Tonneau Cover Adapter # Y01152-5855 is able to slip into the t-slots of certain tonneau covers and has 13" tall uprights so that you can load your accessories easier.

For the cover I recommend the RetraxONE XR Hard Tonneau Cover # RTT-60232. This comes with a locking handle so that you can lock the cover in place anywhere along the rails. The t-slots are compatible with the OutPost tonneau cover adapters so you can easily slide them into place and move them around to fit the spreads needed for your accessories.
