Question:
Hi. I have THULE APEX 4. It has 2 lock cylinders, my issue is: One of the cylinders went missing simply because it wouldnt stay in it place because i think it wasnt installed properly from the beginning I saw a video on you tube and there is a plastic sort of dummy key to it into place before initial use and the other one wont turn to lock or unlock. and i think it has to do with that dummy key being misplaced because if i have the cylinder in my hand it seems to be moving free and there is no rust or debris on it. I dont want to order the wrong part or not order the complete items, please help with what i need to order . PS. I do have one key and the number on the cylinder says N115 and the key says D1251. Thanks in advance.

We do have the replacement part for the Thule N115 lock cylinder. That part is # THLOCKN115. We also carry the Universal Change Key for Thule Locks # 853-1251 which you will need to install the replacement cylinder if you do not still have your change key.
If your Thule lock cylinder was not installed correctly or if it was damaged it could fall out of the casing.
I have included a video which shows the proper way to install a Thule lock cylinder.
