Availability Of A Repair/Rebuild Kit For An Atwood Coupler

Question:

Looking for a rebuild kit for an Atwood 2 coupler for my trailer. Need the pin that connects the latch that goes from side to side at the rear of the coupler? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

There may be a repair/rebuild kit that you can use for your Atwood coupler. The kits are model specific so if you are able to provide a model number of your coupler I can see what we have available. Generally with some older Atwood couplers they can be tricky to repair and parts may not be available. In these cases we recommend replacing the coupler entirely.

Hi Jesse - I have an Atwood P/N 88555. Is there a repair kit for this one?

@Wes Sadly there is not a repair kit for the Atwood 88555 since it has been discontinued. The only option would be a full replacement like the Demco A-Frame Trailer Coupler part # DM14793-81. The old one might need to be cut off, but the new one can be bolted on.
