You will need to use the Universal Towing Mirrors # 7070-2 on your 2005 Dodge Dakota as I do not see any custom fit mirror extensions for your truck. These mirrors have multiple adjustment points to better fit your mirrors profile. It also uses a simple strap system to secure to your mirrors. These Straps # 11952STRAP are replaceable as well as a single Mirror # 7070 should one become damaged.
