Can Curt Echo Be Installed and Sync Without Trailer

Question:
Can I install the Curt echo mobile brake controller such as downloading app and syncing unit? I am traveling east a couple days to pickup trailer. I didn’t know if I had to wait until I had the trailer to connect before I did this. Thanks

You will be able to download the app and connect your phone to the # C51180 without the trailer. This will get you to the point of a solid blue light indicating that the device is paired, no trailer is connected. The rest of the process can be completed when you pick up your trailer.
