Can I Replace a Voyager VOM-784CT Monitor and Maintain the Tilt Function for the Rear Camera?

Updated 11/13/2025 | Published 08/28/2023

Question:

I am replacing a Voyager VOM-784CT monitor in our 08 Monaco Knight I cant see whats on the screen when the sun is shining on it. Is there a replacement LCD 3 input unit that maintains the rear camera tilt feature? If not, is there a work around, maybe using a DPDT switch mounted on the dash?

No, there is not and there is not a work around available that allows you to control the camera's tilt feature without the original monitor. We get this question often and I am sorry but upgrading your monitor will cost you that function.

To replace your Voyager VOM-784CT monitor you will need the Voyager RV LCD Observation Monitor item # VO34FR you were looking at.

I have a voyager Vom 783 which constantly rolls and am looking to replace it with a VO34fr. What connectors do I need to make this a smooth transition? I have 3 cameras.

@BobS When replacing the Voyager Monitor VOM783 with the Voyager RV LCD 7" Monitor item # VO34FR you will need the Voyager CRT to LCD Monitor Cable Adapter pn 31100041. We do not carry this cable anymore but you should be able to use the part number to source one online.

@JerredH I ordered and received the adapter that you referenced, that will work great for camera 1. What adapters do cameras 2 and 3 take?

@Bob That is a great question! We do not have that adapter and we never did if it exists.
