Sounds like you are looking for a ball mount. It looks like the 2020 Ram 2500 Crew Cab 4WD diesel comes with a 2-1/2" receiver from the factory. I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount item # BWTS20040B or item # BWTS20049B if you just want the 3-ball.

This adjustable ball mount has a 18,000 lbs towing capacity with the 2-5/16" ball or a 7,500 lbs with the 2" ball. It has a maximum rise or drop of 7-1/2". The best part about B&W's ball mounts is when you're not towing, you can flip the ball mount platform around and stow it beneath your hitch so that you won't bang your shins.
