Question:
Is the powder coating on this E_Track sufficient to avoid galvanic corrosion of dissimilar metals when mounting this on an aluminum trailer? Thank you.

Expert Reply:
While the powder coating on the E-track # e85VR is durable, the coating by itself will not be sufficient to prevent galvanic corrosion when installing to an aluminum floor or wall. We recommend putting some kind of layer between the e-track and the aluminum. This "layer" could be made of almost any material, such as wood, rubber, or plastic.
