Troubleshooting A Curt Echo That's Not Activating Every Time The Brakes Are Being Applied

Question:
Have a curt bluetooth brake controller and,it is only engaging some of the time. Not every time I hit the brakes.

The Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller # C51180 activates based on the deceleration of the vehicle. If the sensitivity setting in your app is set too low then during smaller decelerations the controller might not be sensing enough to activate the trailer brakes. I recommend turning up the sensitivity in the app and retesting to see if the brakes are more responsive.
