There are a couple ways to verify if the 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 5,300-lb Trailer Axles # e76SR is the correct size for your Forest River Cherokee 25pack12. First if you can find the axle tag information stickers on the back of your axles I can use that information to verify what the axle manufacturer installed on it from the factory. If you can find these please send me a copy of each sticker.

If you are unable to find the axle information tag on the back side of the axle tube you will need to measure your current leaf spring. If you do not have jacks or stands capable of lifting the trailer off the ground to get the weight of the springs you can simply measure the length of the spring from bolt hole center to bolt hole center along the curve of the spring. While the spring is 24-7/8" from eye to eye in a straight line without weight, it will be 26-1/2" along the curve of the spring no matter how much weight is on the suspension.

The CE Smith U-Bolt Kit # CE23003 will provide much better corrosion resistance than the stock parts. These use galvanized spring plates with zinc coated bolts rather than just painted steel parts.
