Question:
I have a 1996 Ford F250 7.3 diesel long bed. I will have a 2013 Arctic Fox 22GQ travel trailer. The dry hitch weight is approximately 550 pounds. I will have about 200 pounds of stuff in the front storage compartment. In the bed of the truck, behind the rear wheels, there will be a 150-pound generator and a 150-pound propane tank. The dry weight of the trailer is 5050 pounds. GVWR is 7,500 pounds. Will this used weight distribution hitch work for me?

It should if you're sure of your tongue weight. Weight distribution hitches are selected based off of tongue weight which is typically between 10% and 15% of your trailer's total weight. This would put yours between 750 lbs and 1,125 lbs when fully loaded. The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution item # FA92-00-1000 you were looking at has a tongue weight range of 600 lbs - 1,000 lbs. So long as you are within that this system will work great.
This system does not include a hitch ball. Depending on your coupler size you will either need a 2" Hitch Ball item # A-90 or a 2-5/16" hitch ball item # C40030.
You can go to a weight station and have them weigh your truck and trailer to figure out your exact tongue weight. You can also use the etrailer Tongue Weight Scale for Campers and Utility Trailers item # e99044.
If you are over the 1,000 lbs of tongue weight, I recommend the the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control item # EQ37120ET. This system has a tongue weight range of 800 lbs - 1,200 lbs, which is perfect for a 7,500 lbs trailer.
