Question:

I have a yakama SST roof racks from 1988. MY PRIOR vehicles all used the Y10 gutterless clamps/clips. Now i have 2010 jeep wrangler that has gutters over the door. What clamp/clip can i use with SST mounts to hold my racks/cross bars on?

The RoundBars like the # Y00410 from your 1988 SST rack can be used on your 2010 Jeep Wrangler. Since there are no adapters or clamps that will allow you to use your old SST towers, you will have to replace them with the Yakima 1A Raingutter Towers # Y00101.

These will allow you to mount the existing crossbars on the gutters on your Wrangler. Keep in mind, the rain gutters are not structural so the maximum allowable load is skis or snowboards only.

If you're looking to carry something heavier, your best bet would be to install the tracks # Y01126 on your roof. This would allow you to use the SkyLine Towers # Y53TR, landing pads # Y00221, and RoundBar adapters # Y03536.
