Question:
So I recently bought the wiring harness 4 pin flat for my 2018 Jeep compass. I wired it up and it was good all lights worked on my trailer. Now I go to use it and my right green wire turn signal brake light doesn’t work correctly. When I use my turn signal it blinks on and off not the way it’s supposed to. Blinks very fast and no brake light appears.

This first thing we will want to to here is ensure you have a good ground on the wiring harness # C56369. Make sure the ground wire is firmly connected to good clean metal free of paint or corrosion. A bad ground could certainly cause the issues you are having. If the ground is connected properly and the issue persists, I am afraid your wiring harness will need to be replaced. Since it worked correctly for a time, then stopped working, this is typically a sign that the module needs to be replaced.
