Will Solera 5000 Series Slide Toppers Fit On The Brackets From Older Solera Slide Topper Models

Will this topper fit on the brackets of an older topper with the hexagonal bars?

The outer brackets (hexagon heads) have changed with the Solera 5000 Series slide toppers so you'll have to slide them off of the inner brackets to install the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000165062. You can leave the inner brackets mounted to the wall of your slide out and simply slide on the new outer brackets to get the slide topper installed.

On a side note, It looks like you might have slightly too big of a slide topper on the slide out and it's causing too much tension on the extension rod and pulling it into the corner trim piece, bending it. I recommend measuring the slide out from outer edge to outer edge of the flanges to ensure you're getting the correct size.
