Question:

For the lippert solera slide topper awnings, such as the 7.5foot model, does that mean the fabric measures 7.5 or does that mean the hardware roller tube and end cap hardware measures 7.5? If the answer is the 7.5foot is the measurment of to fabric, what is the total length in feet and inches for the entire unit? I have a situation where a slide topper is going to be very crowded by the hardware of my main porch awning, so I need to know exact measurments so I can determine if a topper will fit along with the other awning. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and for sharing your knowledge.

In regards to the Solera Slide Topper Awnings, the overall width is actually adjustable so I don't have an exact figure for you. This is because you can slide the hex extension rod in and out of the support arm bracket. The correct way to choose a Solera Slide Topper Awning is to measure from the outside edge of each flange on your slide out. The support arm will then stick out a minimum of 3" past the outside edge of each flange. I have attached a photo for you which shows this.

If the flange to flange measurement on your slide out is between 80" to 85-3/4" wide then you can use the Solera 7.5' Slider (Slide-Topper) part # LCV000165062 for black or part # LCV000163287 for white. The width you see listed in the title is just a guide for consumers, it does not represent the overall width of the unit nor the fabric.

If you have a different flange to flange measurement please let me know what that is.
