Troubleshooting A 2019 Ford Truck that Has No Power to 7-Way

Question:
I have a 2019 ford with trailer tow. I don’t have any power to the 12 volt pole in the truck light plug that would charge trailer battery while towing. If I read manual correctly fuse 27 is the fuse for that. The truck didn’t have a fuse in the 27 slot, after I installed one the circuit is still not working. Is there another fuse I have missed or am I at wrong fuse? Thanks for your help

The problem is that your vehicle can sense when a trailer is connected based on the voltage draw, so it won't send a signal for 12V because there isn't enough of a power draw.
The system requires a power draw on the 7-way and then holding the brake pedal for about 3 seconds until your dash registers "trailer connected". At this point, the vehicle will deliver the 12V power to your trailer connector.
I recommend using a circuit tester like the Hook Probe Circuit Tester # PTW2993 to test the wire at the 1'o'clock position to verify if you're getting 12V.
If you're still having the same error then you're going to need to take it to a dealer to have it get looked at.
