Question:
Does the signal booster really need to be connected to the trailer battery? Or can I use the 12volt and ground pins from my 7 pin trailer connector? How much does it draw? Thx.

The signal booster included with the Tireminder # TM29FR does not necessarily need to be connected directly to a battery. As long as the black wire is grounded and the red is connected to constant 12v, it is all means to the same end. The booster draws only 23.7 mA which is very minimal. It would take quite a long time for the booster to drain a battery.
