In order to find the correct Gen-Y 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box you will need to identify the current pin box on your Alliance Valor 31A10. You will also need to find the correct towing weight using the formula GVWR x 0.22 = TW.

Check your pin box to see if it has a sticker with the pin box number or part number on it. If the pin box number isn't listed directly, the other information can be used by the pin box manufacturer to identify it. If you don't have a sticker, you could call the 5th wheel manufacturer with the VIN number and they should be able to identify it. If all else fails, you can measure to find the bolt pattern. Once you know what you identify your pin box and find your tongue weight calculation you can find out which Gen-Y pin box will fit. A new 31A10 has a GVWR of 16,500 lbs so that would put you at 3,630 lbs. I'm not sure what year yours is but it is probably close to this. That would mean you would need the # GY38FR.
