Question:

Hello! We just bought a 20 Berkshire XL diesel pusher and Im wanting to get my 15 Expedition EL 4x4 Platinum set up to tow 4 down. The motorhome came to us with a Roadmaster Blackhawk 2 All Terrain 10k tow bar. I just want to make sure Im not missing anything. Tow Bar - check Base Plate Kit - Item 4410-3 Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms Braking System - Item RM-8700 Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System TPMS - Item TST-507-FT-6-C TST TPMS for RVs... + 4 cap style sensors for my Expedition Anything else? You are on the right track as the Roadmaster Direct Connect base plate kit part # 4410-3 is a confirmed fit for your 2015 Ford Expedition and the Invisibrake part # RM-8700 will do a great job handling the braking but you will need a lighting solution too.

For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to control the taillight assemblies of the towed vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV.
